A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect, alert and protect people in the case of a fire. This may include detection of smoke, fire, heat and carbon monoxide. Activation of heat and/or smoke detectors, as well as break-glass call points, will trigger audible alarms to instruct people to vacate premises.

What should we expect?

Whether installation of a new system, or takeover or upgrading of existing systems, we can ensure fire systems meet the fire regulations in commercial premises. Following a fire risk assessment, we will design and install a fire system which ensures you are fully covered. Our systems meet the requirements of BS5839, ensuring they are installed and maintained by a person with competency in fire regulations.

Some equipment we may use includes:

  • Conventional, addressable and wireless fire alarm systems
  • Smoke and heat detectors
  • Beam detection
  • Aspirating (air sampling) smoke detection systems
  • Appropriate signage for fire information and fire exits
  • Emergency lighting

In addition we can…

Supply and service fire suppression systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems

  • Install monitoring on the fire system, through a NSI Gold certified monitoring centre. This will enable key contacts, or the fire service, to be telephoned upon activation of the fire alarm

Customer care is key…

On installation of the system, the engineer will fully test the system and demonstrate how to use the system to the customer.

Our customer care does not end when we walk out the door… every system we install is provided with a 12 month maintenance contract including cover on parts and labour, as well as a minimum of 2 services per year (dependent on requirements of system). Following this period, we offer annual contract renewals at reasonable prices to ensure your system is always covered!
