Access control allows you to selectively restrict access to places or resources, whilst also being able to confirm the identity of a user and eliminate potential posed threats. Access control is key in protecting assets and promoting a safe environment, whilst also ensuring movement is regulated within an area or building.
What should we expect?
Whether installation of a new system, or takeover/upgrading of existing systems, we can ensure access control systems are robust and fit for use. An experienced engineer will carry out a site visit, for free, to plan and design entry and exit restriction systems in accordance with the customer’s needs and safety requirements, to promote the protection of people, assets and property.
Some equipment we may use includes:
- Intercoms and door entry systems
- Automatic gates
- Electric locking systems, including systems that can be programmed to work together such as interlocking doors
- Keypad locking devices
- Proximity readers accessible using codes, cards, tags/fobs and mobile phones
- Biometric systems, including fingerprint readers
- Facial recognition systems, including integrated temperature readers
- Standalone access control systems – for one or multiple doors that are each programmed with user access
- Network-based access control systems which uses management software to control access points and users
In addition we can…
- Enable remote access to some systems – to add and remove users, generate access user logs, grant access and manage access control system
- Link access control systems with intruder and fire alarm systems, as well as CCTV systems – all of which can be monitored through a monitoring centre
Customer care is key…
On installation of the system, the engineer will fully test the system and demonstrate how to use the system to the customer, as well as assisting with remote access features if necessary.
Our customer care does not end when we walk out the door… every system we install is provided with a 12 month maintenance contract including cover on parts and labour, as well as a minimum of 1 service per year (dependent on requirements of system). Following this period, we offer annual contract renewals at reasonable prices to ensure your system is always covered!
